Come As You Are

  • Are you seeking more meaningful community connection?
  • Would you like to learn more about faith, or how to talk about it with your family and friends?
  • Have you wanted to find more meaning in life, be closer to God, make new friends, but can’t find the time?

‘Come As You Are’ begins with the first ‘Family Mass’ of 2022 on Saturday, January 8th at 5 PM, followed by refreshments and a short learning session about Baptism! What is it? What is it for? Why is it important?

Then, on Sunday January 23rd from 9:30 – 11:00 AM we will have the first “Exploring Our Faith” gathering. We will share a meal together and have conversation and questions about the Catholic faith.

What Is It?

‘Come As You Are’ is an exciting series of events, experiences and year-round learning opportunities at St. Joan of Arc Parish in Aberdeen for all families and individuals, all generations. Whether you are brand new to church, have recently moved here, or have been a parishioner for many years, we look forward to welcoming you. We will meet you where you are, without expectation or judgement, and hope to be ‘friends you haven’t met yet’ for you and your family!

All our sessions are 90 minutes or less, and conveniently scheduled for busy people. Just come as you are, when you can, and we will be waiting to welcome you as part of our community.
