Throughout the Gospel, Jesus tells us to: "Love God and Love One Another".  He also teaches that we must be servants.

Service to those in need is an integral mission of the church. At St. Joan of Arc we have a number of ministries and service to those in need.  We are constantly seeking support from our parishioners to helps us in these efforts and to identify creative ways to support our community.

In addition, as Catholics we are called to remain informed about civil actions and social issues that affect all people, especially the vulnerable.  We encourage all of our parishioners to remain informed about these actions and the Catholic Church's position on a variety of social justice issues.

We are developing a Service and Social Justice Committee that meets each month to review relevant issues and actions, and cross talk among ministries to ensure we are keeping service and social justice issues forefront in our Parish's mission and initiatives.  For information about the Service and Social Justice Committee please contact Deacon Ray Van Pelt at:  rvanpelt@stjoanarc.org.
